Mini Abdominoplasty
What is Mini-Abdominoplasty?

A Mini-Abdominoplasty, also known as a mini tummy tuck, is a cosmetic surgical procedure that targets the lower abdomen, specifically the area below the navel. Unlike a full tummy tuck, which addresses the entire abdominal area, a mini tummy tuck focuses on removing excess skin and fat from the lower abdomen to improve its contour.
How does it work?

-
Incision: A small incision, typically 4 to 8 inches long, is made in the lower abdomen. This is often similar to the length of a C-section scar.
-
Fat and Skin Removal: Excess fat is removed, and the skin is trimmed and laid flat. In some cases, liposuction is also performed to enhance the results.
-
Healing and Recovery: Initial healing involves swelling, numbness, and bruising, which can be managed with medication. Recovery typically takes about 6 weeks, with most patients returning to normal activities within a week.
